Executive profiles –
Jeff Ward started working on the drilling rigs in college to help pay for tuition. After graduating in 1997, Jeff worked in various sales roles until the price of oil started to strengthen, taking on a business development role with Wildcat Services in Calgary Alberta. After the purchase of Wildcat by Varco, Jeff opened up the US market for two independent directional companies for the next 7 years. Realizing the toll taken from constant travel, Jeff took a position with Scientific Drilling International to stay closer to home. Shortly after, Jeff was offered a position in Houston to take over the drilling systems portion of the business and was a Product Line Manager for SDI the following 6 years. After the downturn in the business started to recover, Jeff left SDI to start DIRTT LLC and help Canadian organizations start their businesses up in the US.
Nicole (Kostiw) Ward graduated with a Bachelor Arts Degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia (in association with Okanagan University College (OUC) in Kelowna, British Columbia) in 1998. She started her career in immigration in Calgary, Alberta working for VRV Immigration where she held the position as General Manager from 1999 until starting her own company, Bridging Borders, in 2007.
